A funeral was held today (Monday, November 15th, 2004) for 84-year-old Edith E. Bohnert of Perryville who died Friday, November 12th at her residence.

She was born April 4th, 1920 in Crosstown, the daughter of August and Esther (Mantz) Cox who both preceded her in death.

She married Eugene E. Bohnert on March 12th, 1937. He survives in Perryville.

Survivors also include: one son and daughter in law, Elmer and Earlene Bohnert of Perryville; three daughters and two sons in law, Earline and Elton Drury of Perryville, Ruth and Doc Hadler of Perryville and Jeanie Lauer of Blue Springs; 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

A son, Floyd; two brothers, Clyde and Linus and a sister, Myrtle, also preceded her in death.

She was homemaker and member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.

A funeral for 84-year-old Edith E. Bohnert of Perryville was held today at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Rev. Christopher Cole officiated.

Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran School Building Fund or Immanuel radio broadcast.
