A funeral will be held Monday, October 18th, 2004 for 9-month-old Alexis Maria Darin of Durham, North Carolina, who died Thursday, October 14th at Duke University Hospital in Durham.

She was born January 15th, 2004 in Durham County, N. C., the daughter of John E. and Kelly (Chardavoyne) Darin. They survive in Durham.

She is survived by: paternal grandparents John and Gwen (Balsman) Darin of Perryville; maternal grandparents Dennis Chardavoyne of Colorado and Vickie Chardavoyne of Jacksonville, N. C.; paternal great grandparents Theresa Balsman of Perryville, and Stella Nesci of California; maternal great grandparents Gean Fischer of Jacksonville, N. C., and Marge Chardavoyne of Colorado.

She was also preceded in death by paternal great grandparents Gene Balsman of Perryville, and John P. Nesci of California; and maternal great grandparent Frank Fischer of Jacksonville, N. C.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday, October 17th, 2004 at the Young and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Perryville.

A funeral for 9-month-old Alexis Maria Darin of Durham, North Carolina will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 18th, 2004 at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate.
