Virginia Louise Barber A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 19th, 2005 for 96-year-old Virginia Louise Barber of Brazeau who died Tuesday, April 12th at Perry County Nursing Home. She was born April 30th, 1908, the daughter of Curtis William and Margaret May (Luckey) Barber, who both preceded her in death. Survivors include: four nephews and their spouses, John and Linda, Bob and Nancy, Don and Glenda and Rodney and Brenda Barber. Two brothers, Robert and Claiborne Barber, also preceded her in death. She was a public school teacher in Brazeau, Altenburg and Sullivan and Logan, New Mexico and was retired in 1972 as a home economist with the University of Missouri Extension Centers in Troy, Springfield, Bethany, Greenville and Pilot Knob. She was life member of the Brazeau Prebysterian Church, longtime member of the Brazeau Extension Club and Perry County Historical Society. Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 19th at the Brazeau Presbyterian Church. A memorial service for 96-year-old Virginia Louise Barber of Brazeau will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 19th at the Brazeau Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Craig King will officiate.
