A funeral service will be held today, Thursday, August 11th, 2005 for 70-year-old Jim C. Birk of Shawneetown who died Monday.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

Burial will be in the Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Saxony Lutheran High School.
