A funeral was held today (Monday, August 8th, 2005) for 58-year-old Richard D. Donahue of Perryville who died Saturday, August 6th at his home.

He was born February 12th, 1947 in St. Louis, the son of Joseph Donahue and Alice Dawkins Donahue.

He is survived by several cousins.

He was retired from Menard Correctional Center and was a member of the Perryville Elks Lodge. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

A funeral for 58-year-old Richard D. Donahue of Perryville was held today (Monday, August 8th, 2005) at the Miller Family Funeral Home. The Rev. Kevin P. Fausz, C.M., officiated.

Burial was in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
