Alma I. Franklin

A funeral will be held Tuesday, December 13th, 2005 for 94-year-old Alma L. Franklin of Silver Lake, who died Saturday, December 10th at her residence.

She was born November 30th, 1911 in Bollinger County, the daughter of Robert and Maude (Hudson) Anderson, who both preceded her in death.

She married Wallace S. Franklin on June 6th, 1961. He survives in Silver Lake.

A brother, Ralph, also preceded her in death.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Perryville and an active volunteer for the American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. this (Monday, December 12th) evening and 6:30-10 a.m. Tuesday, December 13th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A Catholic wake will be held at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

A funeral for 94-year-old Alma I. Franklin of Silver Lake will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Craig King will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
