A funeral will be held Sunday, December 4^th, 2005 for 77-year-old Freda M. Forsythe of Ste. Genevieve, who died Tuesday, November 29^th, 2005 at Martin County Memorial Hospital in Stuart, FL.

She was born January 8^th, 1928, the daughter of Lee and Anna (Kelly) Staggs. Her stepmother was Lillian Litterest. All preceded her in death.

She married William Earl Forsythe September 15, 1966. He survives in Ste. Genevieve.

She is survived by a son, Larry Moser of Ste. Genevieve; a daughter and son in law, Linda and Mike Ballew of Park Hills; three stepsons, Melvin Forsythe of Nixa, Gary and Larry Forsythe, both of Farmington; two sisters, Leota Layton of Farmington, Retha Todd of St. Louis; 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Braddy.

She was a co-owner of Freda’s Restaurant before retiring. She attended St. Marys Baptist Church.

Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. Saturday, December 3^rd, and 8 a.m.-1:50 p.m. Sunday, December 4^th at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville.

A funeral for 77-year-old Freda M. Forsythe of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 4^th, 2005 at the Young and Sons Chapel. The Rev. Irvin Brooks will officiate.

Burial will follow in Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington.
