Cleo P. Brune

A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 7th, 2005 for 77-year-old Cleo P. Brune of Lixville, formerly of Friedheim, who died Monday, July 4th, 2005 at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born August 1st, 1927, in Friedheim, the son of O. H. and Mellie (Crites) Brune. They preceded him in death.

He is survived by: three brothers, John H. Brune of Perryville, Clyde "Bill" Brune of Sedgewickville, and Kelly D. Brune of Friedheim; six sisters, Mary D. Brune and Loral Brune, both of Perryville, Verna Hobeck of Daisy, Ruth Kutscher of St. Louis, Dorothy Buck of Parma, OH, and Jean Sims of Sun City, AZ.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers (one was his twin).

He was a farmer by trade, a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim, and a member of the Lutheran Men’s Club. He was also a church trustee.

Visitation is from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 6th, and 6:30 a.m. to 1:50 p.m. Thursday, July 7th at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville.

A funeral service for 77-year-old Cleo P. Brune of Lixville, formerly of Friedheim, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 7th, at the Young and Sons Chapel. The Rev. Adam Mueller will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Lixville Lutheran Cemetery.
