A funeral service will be held Friday, July 8^th, 2005, for 81-year-old Leola C. (Tackaberry) Boyer of Perryville, who died Tuesday, July 5^th, 2005 at the Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born March 30^th, 1924 in Perry County, the daughter of Harry J. and Hilda V. (Holtermann) Tackaberry, Sr. They preceded her in death.

She married James L. Boyer November 30, 1978. He survives in Perryville.

Survivors include: two sons, Bruce Cory of St. Louis, the Rev. Gregory Cory of Montgomery, AL; a daughter, Lola Ann Crowder of Granite City, IL; four stepsons, James Jr., Daniel, Mark, and Matthew Boyer, all of Perryville; two stepdaughters, Marsha Zotta of St. Louis, Myra Hall of Kansas City; a brother, Harry "Mickey" Tackaberry of Perryville; a sister, Marie Young of Perryville; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Mayer, and a twin sister, Loretta Bohnert.

She was a dining room supervisor at the St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf in University City, a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and a member of the Berean Bible Class in Perryville.

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, July 7^th, 2005, and from 9 a.m.-12:40 p.m. Friday, July 8^th at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville.

Funeral services for 81-year-old Leola C. (Tackaberry) Boyer of Perryville will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 8^th, 2005, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. The Rev. matthew marks will officiate.
