Louise E. Sturm Hafley Beeson A private funeral is being arranged for 90-year-old Louise E. (Sturm) (Hafley) Beeson of Perryville who died Monday, July 4th, 2005 at the Perry County Nursing Home. She was born April 25th, 1915 in Mt. Vernon, Indiana, the daughter of Francis L. and Lilly Love (Crowder) Sturm who both preceded her in death. She married Marvin Lee Hafley on December 24th, 1931. He preceded her in death. She married Karl Beeson on October 26th, 1996. He preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Paul David Hafley of Bonne Terre; two daughters and sons in law, Bevery and Charles Major of Farmington and Kathleen and Bob Bradley of Perryville; a sister, Glenn Solman of Evansville, Indiana; 21 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Richard Lee and Marvin Bruce Hafley; six sisters, Anna Belle Birkenstock, Holly Sturm, Millicent Detrie, Leona Sturm, Betty Sturm and Elmo Sturm and brothers, Elmer, Louis, Benjamin, Harold and Emmanuel Sturm. She was retired after working more than 20 years as a nurses aide and psychiatric aide. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Perryville.
