Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 23^rd, 2005 for 88-year-old Marvin O. Burroughs of Perryville, formerly of Frohna, who died Monday, June 20^th, 2005, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 19^th, 1917, in Frohna, the son of Otto and Magdalena (Mueller) Burroughs, who preceded him in death.

He married Bernice Hellwege October 19^th, 1941. She survives in Perryville.

Survivors include: a son and daughter in law, Larry and Ruth Burroughs of Frohna; a daughter, Bonnie M. Burroughs of Chapel Hill, NC; two grandchildren and their spouses, Pam and Jeff Scott, and Angela and John Kelly; and two great grandchildren, Hannah and Emma Scott.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Burroughs, and two sisters, Eugenia Lorenz and Alice Palisch.

He was a farmer, and a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church, LLL, and was a past church trustee in Frohna.

Visitation is from 4:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 22^nd, and from 6:30-8:30 a.m. Thursday, June 23^rd, at the Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg.

Funeral services for 88-year-old Marvin O. Burroughs of Perryville, formerly of Frohna, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 23^rd, 2005 at the Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna. The Rev. Wayne Palmer will officiate.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.
