Wilbert Clements

A funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 6th, 2005 for 84-year-old Wilbert Clements of Biehle, who died Tuesday, May 3rd at the Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born April 4th, 1921 in Bollinger County, the son of Louis H. and Elizabeth (Werth) Clements, who both preceded him in death.

He married Thelma C. "Tooty" Buerck May 26th, 1951. She also preceded him in death.

Survivors include four sons and daughters in law, Larry and Beverly Clements of Villa Ridge, Randy and Bonnie Clements and Terry and Jennifer Clements, all of Perryville, and James and Tina Clements of Ste. Genevieve; five daughters and sons in law, Margery and Mark Winschel and Cindy and Randy Pecaut, all of Perryville, Peggy and Neal Yamnitz of Bloomsdale, Cathy and John Boyd of Jackson, Carol and Tom Kuhlmann of Marquand; a brother, Kellie Clements of Perryville; a sister, Mae Propst of Sedgewickville; 24 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela; four brothers, Lloyd, Edgar, George and Oscar; three sisters, Katherine Besand, Mary Wilke, and Alma Schnurbusch; an infant sister, Irene; a granddaughter, Angela Winschel; and a grandson, Travis Clements.

He was a carpenter and farmer, dealing in agriculture and livestock. He was a member of the St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle. He loved hunting, fishing and playing cards.

Visitation is scheduled 4-9 p.m. Thursday, May 5th, and 6:30-10:15 a.m. Friday, May 6th, at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. Catholic Wake is Thursday at 6 p.m., and the rosary will be recited Friday at 9:15 a.m. at the Chapel

A funeral Mass for 84-year-old Wilbert Clements of Biehle will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 6th at the St. Maurus Catholic Church with the Revs. Kevin Fausz, Mark Bozada and Tony Dattilo presiding. Burial will be in the Church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association.
