A funeral will be held Friday, December 2^nd, 2005 for 82-year-old Marie E. Balsman of Perryville, who died Monday, November 28^th, 2005 at the Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born July 25^th, 1923 in Brazeau, the daughter of Fred and Della Clary. They preceded her in death.

She married Delmar W. Balsman November 13^th, 1940 in Biehle. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, Melvin Balsman of Perryville; two daughters, Dorothy Martin and Bonnie Schremp, both of Perryville; a sister, Dorothy Polich of Northville, MI; six grandchildren, five step grandchildren, two great grandchildren, 12 step great grandchildren, 12 step great great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a sister.

She was a homemaker, and was an avid quilter and crochet artist, making several beautiful items over the years.

She was of the Methodist faith.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, December 1^st, and from 6:30-9:50 a.m. Friday, December 2^nd at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 82-year-old Marie E. Balsman of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 2^nd, 2005 at the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Alphonse Hoernig will officiate.

Burial will follow in the St. Maurus Cemetery.
