Patricia K. Brickhaus

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 21st, 2005 for 51-year-old Patricia K. Brickhaus of Dexter, formerly of Perryville, who died Wednesday, November 16th, 2005 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born July 29th, 1954 in Perryville, the daughter of Walter and Mildred (Ochs) Brickhaus. They preceded her in death.

She is survived by: a sister, Margaret Brickhaus of Jackson; two brothers and sisters in law, Allen and Kathy Brickhaus of Calconda, IL, Glen and Marilyn Brickhaus of Perryville; a nephew and his spouse, James and Michele Ketten; two nieces, Sarah and Rachel Brickhaus; great nephew and niece Aaron and Kassi Ketten.

She was a 7th grade teacher, instructing for 28 years at the T. S. Hill Public Middle School in Dexter.

She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church, where she was an organist. She was also a member of the Friedenburg Lutheran Historical Society, NCTM, MSTA and Alpha Delta Kappa. She was a Secretary of Voter’s Assembly, CTA Building Representative, a teacher at Southeast Missouri State University and Three Rivers Community College, and was a poet, humorous writer and musician.

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, November 19th at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville, and from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, November 20th at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services for 51-year-old Patricia K. Brickhaus of Dexter, formerly of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 21st, 2005 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Dexter. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville. The Revs. Adam Mueller and Michael Mathey will co-officiate.
