Hazel F. Dunker A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 15th, 2005 for Hazel F. Dunker of Perryville who died Thursday, October 13th at Perry Oaks Care Center in Perryville. She was born June 17th, 1914 in Lithium, the daughter of James T. Brown and Bessie Preston Brown who both preceded her in death. She married Barnwell Dunker on December 29th, 1933 in Perryville. He preceded her in death. Survivors include: two sons, Doug Dunker and Richard "Buddy" Dunker, both of Perryville, a daughter, Viriginia L. Dunker of Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters, Ann Hacker of Monterey, California and Barbara Schmiett of De Soto; two brothers, Bert Brown of Farmington and Johnny Brown of San Bernardino, California; 32 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and a sister. She worked at the International Shoe Company and was an avid card player and she taught bridge for a number of years. She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. this (Friday, October 14th) afternoon and evening and 6:30-9:50 a.m. Saturday, October 15th at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A funeral mass for 91-year-old Hazel F. Dunker will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 15th at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. The Rev. Kevin Fausz, C.M., will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. |
