Funeral Mass will be held Monday, September 19^th, 2005 for 66-year-old James C. "Charlie" Brewer of Perryville, who died Thursday, September 15^th, 2005 at his home.

He was born June 1^st, 1939 in Perry County, the son of Harley Brewer, who preceded him in death, and Agnes Cecilia (Swink) Brewer, who survives in Perryville.

Survivors also include: four sons, Duane, Derek, Daren and Douglas Brewer, all of Perryville; a sister, Debbie Thieret of Longtown; three brothers, David Brewer of Festus, Gene Brewer of Tennessee, Jerry Brewer of Perryville; four grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Lee Brewer.

He was retired from Gilster Mary-Lee, and was a veteran of the U. S. Navy.

He was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer, Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus, Holy Name Society, AmVets, and American Legion Post 133.

Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. Sunday, September 18^th, and from 6:30-9:40 a.m. Monday, September 19^th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish wake with the Knights of Columbus will begin at 7 p.m. Sunday, followed by an American Legion service. The Rosary will be recited Monday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass for 67-year-old James C. "Charlie" Brewer of Perryville will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, September 19^th, 2005 at the Christ the Savior Parish in Brewer. The Rev. Felipe Martinez will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
