A funeral will be held Saturday, April 29th, 2006 for 96-year-old Bertha Mary Hunt of Perryville who died Wednesday, April 26th at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born January 14th, 1910 in Sereno, the daughter of James and Mary B. (Tucker) Moore, who both preceded her in death.

She married Charles A. Hunt on September 3rd, 1934. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Norman and Barb Hunt of Apple River, Illinois; a daughter, Barbara Hunt of Perryville; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She was a department store clerk at Marshal Field's and a homemaker.

She was a member of the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and Ladies Sodality in Sereno.

Visitation will be 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 29th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral mass for 96-year-old Bertha Mary Hunt of Perryville will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno. The Rev. Francis Agnew C.M., officiating.

Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
