Wilma M. Bohnert

A funeral will be held Wednesday, April 26th, 2006 for 90-year-old Wilma M. Bohnert of Longtown, who died Sunday, April 23rd at the Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born January 16th, 1916 in Schalls, the daughter of William J. and Pearl May (Farrar) Puntmann, who both preceded her in death.

She married Wilpert "Wib" J. Bohnert on November 6th, 1938. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Ronald and Betty Bohnert of Perryville; a daughter and son in law, Nancy and Othmar Berkbuegler; seven grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Myrtle Schott, Juletta Walker and her twin, Thelma Guyott and two brothers, Claiborne and Thelburn Puntmann.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 25th and 6:30-8:15 a.m. Wednesday, April 26th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 90-year-old Wilma M. Bohnert, formerly of Longtown, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 26th at the Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Paul Winningham will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran School or St. Maurus Catholic Church Center.

She was a housewife and member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown. She loved to quilt, garden and grow lots of flowers.
