A funeral will be held Friday, August 25th, 2006 for 95-year-old Lorena E. Horschman of Perryville who died Monday, August 21st at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born February 4th, 1911 in Biehle, the daughter of Frank and Theresa Kirn Unterreiner, who both preceded her in death.

She married Adam Horschman on June 16th, 1930. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son: James Horschman of Bowling Green, Kentucky; four daughters: Leona Warzala of Perryville, Gloria Douglas of Perryville, Jane Welker of Perryville and Diana Thompson of Cheney, Washington and a brother: Raymond Unterreiner of Brewer.

She was also preceded in death by a grandson: William Douglas; a granddaughter, Shirley Ann Douglas; two brothers and two sisters.

She worked at the International Shoe Company. After her retirement, she was a custodian at St. Vincent Elementary School.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday, August 24th and 6:30-9:50 a.m. Friday, August 25th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.

Parish prayers will be at 7:15 p.m. Thursday and the Rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

A funeral mass for 95-year-old Lorena E. Horschman will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 25th at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Alphonse Hoernig CM will officiate.

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
