Clyde Hudson

A funeral will be held Saturday, February 4th, 2006 for 91-year-old Clyde Hudson of Perryville, who died today (Thursday, February 2nd, 2006) at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born May 16th, 1914 in Silver Lake, the son of Prince and Ida (Reddick) Hudson. They preceded him in death.

He married Emma Coffeldt October 20th, 1941. She survives in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Glenda and John Quinn of Cape Girardeau; three sons and two daughters in law, Clyde Hudson of Cincinnati, OH, Prince and Shirley Hudson of Perryville, Roger and Betty Hudson of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Prince Hudson, Jr. of Cedar Rapids, IA; two sisters, Edna Seeman of Cedar Rapids, IA, Viola Coffelt of Perryville; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

He was a retired electrician and lineman. He was a member of V. F. W. Post 4282, American Legion Post 133, and was an Army veteran of World War II.

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Friday, February 3rd, and 6:30-11 a.m. Saturday, February 4th at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. A V. F. W. wake will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Chapel.

A funeral for 91-year-old Clyde Hudson of Perryville will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 4th, 2006 at the Young and Sons Chapel. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Home Cemetery. American Legion Post 133 will provide military graveside honors.
