A funeral will be held Saturday, February 18^th, 2006 for 88-year-old Lorene Buff Goodwin of Perryville, who died Tuesday, February 14^th, 2006 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 19^th, 1917 in Perry County, the daughter of August and Emma (Herron) Buff. They preceded her in death.

She married Zello Taylor in 1934. He preceded her in death.

She married Samuel Goodwin in 1971. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by four sons and daughters in law, Harley and Janice Taylor, Robert and Odette Taylor, William and Mary Taylor, all of Perryville, Samuel and Cheryl Taylor of St. Charles; a sister, Ella Shrum of Perryville; 16 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Paul, five sisters and five brothers.

She worked for 20 years at International Shoe, then drove for 17 years at Meyer Bus Lines.

She was a member of V. F. W. Post 4282 and American Legion Post 133 auxiliaries.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Friday, February 17^th, and from 6:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 18^th at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville.

A funeral for 88-year-old Lorene Buff Goodwin of Perryville will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 18^th, 2006 at the Young and Sons Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Home Cemetery.
