Earl J. Duvall

A funeral will be held Monday, January 9th, 2006 for 85-year-old Earl J. Duvall of Frohna, who died today (Friday, January 6th, 2006) at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born March 23rd, 1920 in St. Louis, the son of the late Joseph and Mabel (Kapeller) Duvall.

He married Melva D. Kreyling June 7th, 1947. She survives in Frohna.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters in law, Thomas Duvall of St. Louis, Terry and Chris Duvall of Fairview Heights, Timothy and Elizabeth Duvall of O’Fallon; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford, and a granddaughter, Kelly.

He was a machinist with Western Supplies in St. Louis.

He served in World War II as a member of the Army Air Corps. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altenburg and American Legion Post 133.

Visitation is from 9-9:50 a.m. Monday, January 9th at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altenburg.

A funeral for 85-year-old Earl J. Duvall of Frohna will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 9th, 2006 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Keith Weise will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.

The Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville handled all arrangements.
