Venita May Bronenkant

A funeral service will be held Friday, July 21st, 2006 for 66-year-old Venita May Bronenkant of Uniontown, who died today (Tuesday, July 18th, 2006) at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born September 25th, 1939 in Vienna, IL, the daughter of Ernest and Lora May (Newton) Rogers. They preceded her in death.

She married Curtis Bronenkant June 25th, 1987. He survives in Uniontown.

She is survived by a daughter and son in law, Julie and Donald Renaud of Perryville; two sons and daughters in law, David and Jodie Mehrer, Larry and Jeri Smith, all of Chester, IL; two step daughters and their spouses, Tina and Todd Spies of Altenburg, Sarah and Fred Williams of Glena; a step son and his wife, Trent and Lori Bronenkant of Altenburg; 13 grandchildren, seven step grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two infant sisters.

She was a self-employed doll maker, and a past owner of two antique stores in Cape Girardeau, and a member of the 2 Doll Club.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, July 20th, and from 6:30-8 a.m. Friday, July 21st at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville.

A funeral for 66-year-old Venita May Bronenkant of Uniontown will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 21st, 2006 at the First Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Chester, IL. The Rev. Phillip Keeton will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Paradise Cemetery in Bremann, IL.
