A funeral Mass will be held Monday, June 19th, 2006 for 82-year-old Mary E. Hurst of St. Mary who died today (Friday, June 16th, 2006) at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born April 12th, 1924 in Mexico, the daughter of John and Marie (Paradies) Niederschulte. They preceded her in death.

She married Donald B. Hurst June 18th, 1949. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Hurst of Imperial, Chris Hurst of Herculaneum; two daughters, Theresa Hurst of Imperial, Mary Hurst of Fenton; two grandchildren, Mike and Gary Hurst.

She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph, and a daughter, Catherine.

She taught a total of 35 years between the Boxdorfer School in Kaskaskia, IL and PCSD 32, Perryville. She was a member of the Missouri State Retired Teachers Association, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kaskaskia, IL, and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Imperial.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Sunday, June 18th, and from 6:30-9:45 a.m. Monday, June 19th, at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville.

Funeral Mass for 82-year-old Mary E. Hurst of St. Mary will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 19th, 2006 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kaskaskia, IL. The Rev. Jerome Fortenberry will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
