Oswin E. Hacker

A funeral was held Sunday, March 12th, 2006 for 79-year-old Oswin E. Hacker of Plano, Texas, formerly of Perryville, who died Thursday, March 9th at Plano Hospital.

He was born August 6th, 1926, the son of Edward John and Emma (Boxdorfer-Stuebner) Hacker, who both preceded him in death.

He married Betty Jean White October 5th, 1952. She survives in Plano, Texas.

He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and lots of friends.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Cletus; and two sisters, Ruth Grass and Lillian Zumwalt.

He was a former member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Visitation was 1-2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 12th at the Whitewater Christian Church near Yount.

A funeral for 79-year-old Oswin E. Hacker of Plano, Texas, formerly of Perryville was held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 12th at the Whitewater Christian Church near Yount. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Alan Martin officiated. Military graveside service was provided by American Legion Post No. 133.

Memorials may be made to the Whitewater Christian Church.

The funeral was arranged by the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
