Wilma D. Gettinger A funeral will be held Wednesday, May 10th, 2006 for 68-year-old Wilma D. Gettinger of St. Mary, who died at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She married Gilbert Gettinger November 29th, 1958. She is survived by three sons, Kevin Gettinger and Wayner Gettinger, both of Ste. Genevieve, and Bernie Gettinger of Festus; two daughters, Tina Fortenberry of Cairo, IL, and Karen Gettinger of Asheville, NC; a sister, Mary Ann Pfaff of Ste. Genevieve; a brother, Dennis Heberlie of Ste. Genevieve; 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest "Butch" Heberlie. She was a cook at the Ste. Genevieve County Jail, a seamstress, and a member of the Christ the Savior Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, May 9th, and from 6:30-9:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 10th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish Prayers will be offered at 7 p.m. Tuesday, the Rosary recited at 9 a.m. Wednesday, all at the funeral home. A funeral for 68-year-old Wilma D. Gettinger of St. Mary will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 10th, 2006 at the Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer. The Rev. Felipe Martinez will officiate. Burial will follow in the Christ the Savior Cemetery. You may make memorials to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation of the charity of your choice. |
