Doris W. Bock

A funeral will be held Wednesday, November 29th, 2006 for 84-year-old Doris W. Bock of Perryville who died Sunday, November 26th at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 23rd, 1922 in Perry County, the daughter of Cletus and Cora (Sittner) Hoehn, who both preceded her in death.

She married Herbert E. Bock on August 17th, 1946. He survives in Perryville.

She is also survived by three daughters and two sons in law: Donna and Raymond Phillips of Perryville, Linda and Harold Clifton of Perryville and Patricia Lukefahr of Perryville; a brother: Warren Hoehn of Perryville; a sister: Shirley Berry of Perryville; seven grandchildren: Richard, Dennis and Denise Phillips, Tammie Cox, Todd Clifton and Laura and Anna Lukefahr; five great grandchildren; three step great grandchildren and one step great great grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by a brother: Chelsey Hoehn and three sisters: Ruth Dickman, Hallie McCarty and Elizabeth Stark.

She was a homemaker and member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She was a Scout leader and enjoyed quilting and crocheting.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 28th and 6:30-8:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 29th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 84-year-old Doris W. Bock of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 29th at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Thomas Handrick will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran School or Lutheran Women's Missionary League missions.
