Goldia G. Heck

A funeral will be held Saturday, November 4th, 2006 for 84-year-old Goldia G. Heck of Perryville who died Tuesday, October 31st at Perry Oaks Manor.

She was born February 22nd, 1922 in Ste. Genevieve County, the daughter of George and Lillian (Tucker) Griffard who both preceded her in death.

She married Arnie E. Heck on July 18th, 1938. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by three sons and daughters in law: Ronald and Marge Heck of Trenton, Illinois, Roger and Betty Heck of Perryville and Glennon and Susan Heck of Zanesville, Ohio; three daughters and two sons in law: Kay and Jerry Meyers of Theodosia, Sue and Joe Alexander of Branson and Kristeen Schilling of Perryville; 26 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Kevin; three brothers; four sisters and a grandson.

She was a cook at several restaurants in Perryville and worked at the Seminary.

She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and VFW Auxiliary.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Friday, November 3rd and 6:30-10 a.m. Saturday, November 4th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. The rosary will be recited Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

A funeral for 84-year-old Goldia G. Heck of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 4th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. The Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating.

Burial will be in the Crestlawn Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve.

Memorials are preferred to masses.
