Oma L. Bailey

A funeral will be held Saturday, November 4th, 2006 for 95-year-old Oma L. Bailey, formerly of Perryville.

She was born January 24th, 1911, in Calico Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of Rufus B. and Estel (Cockran) Freeman who both preceded her in death.

She married Joseph Eugene Bailey on February 12th, 1929. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son and daughter in law: Bill and Stella Bailey of Perryville; two sisters: Nova G. Henderson of Little Rock, Arkansas and JoAnn Dixon of Marietta, Georgia; two grandchildren and their spouses: Steven and Lisa Bailey and Michael and Diana Bailey of Perryville; three great grandchildren: Lauren, Jill and Grant Bailey, all of Perryville.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Leo and Deloras.

She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Friday and 6:30-9 a.m. Saturday at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 95-year-old Oma L. Bailey, formerly of Perryville, will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, November 4th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Wes Wright will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
