A funeral will be held Wednesday, October 18th, 2006 for 38-year-old Barbara A. Hurt of Perryville who died today, Saturday, October 14th at the Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born June 9th, 1968 in Louisiana, the daughter of James and Betty Blakeman, who survive in Texas.

She married Robert W. Hurt on December 19th, 1987. He survives in Perryville.

She is also survived by one daughter: Theresa Marie Hurt and a son: Robert W. Hurt II, both of the home; and two sisters: Mary Ann Blakeman of Texas and Becky Blakeman of Texas.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, U.S. Army and VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 17th and 6:30-10 a.m. Wednesday, October 18th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A VFW wake will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

A funeral for 38-year-old Barbara A. Hurt will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 18^th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. The Rev. Dennis W. Cebulak will officiate.

Burial will be in the Home Cemetery with military graveside service provided by the VFW Post No. 4282.

Memorials may be made for family use.
