A funeral will be held Saturday, October 7^th, 2006 for 85-year-old Frieda L. Boettcher of Altenburg, who died today (Tuesday, October 3^rd, 2006) at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born September 6^th, 1921 in Frohna, the daughter of Henry and Helena (Weber) Lueders. They preceded her in death.

She married Cornelius Boettcher December 26^th, 1944. He survives in Altenburg.

She is survived by a son, Donald Boettcher of Frohna; a daughter, Dorothy Krans of Pevely; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilbert "Pete" Lueders and Edgar Lueders; a sister, Flora Leimbach.

She was a polisher at the International Shoe Company, and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, October 6^th, and from 8-10 a.m. Saturday at the Trinity Lutheran Church.

A funeral for 85-year-old Frieda L. Boettcher of Altenburg will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 7^th, 2006 at the Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Steven Dressler will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
