Lillian Ellen Cleary A funeral will be held Tuesday, September 12th, 2006 for 83-year-old Lillian Ellen Cleary of Perryville, who died Saturday, September 9th at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She married Herman Schumer. He preceded her in death. She married John Cleary on July 21st, 1962. He survives in St. Mary. She is also survived by six children and their spouses: Dennis and Cathy Schumer, Edward and Linda Schumer, Lawrence and Connie Schumer and Mary and Larry Richardson, all of Perryville, Leonard Schumer and Barbara and Mark Johnson, all of St. Mary; her stepchildren and their spouses: Evelyn and Ray Sauer and Leona Richardet and Zelma Huber, all of Perryville, Edna and Roy Biri of Doe Run, Francis McCullough of Fairview Heights, Illinois; brothers: Everett Kiefer and Herman Kiefer, both of Perryville and sisters: Eileen Kadavi of Perryville and Evelyn Swan of St. Louis; 18 grandchildren; and 34 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Erline Regelsperger and Viola Sides; three brothers: Wilbert Kiefer, Troy S. Kiefer and Daniel Kiefer and on granddaughter. She was a cook at Prince Gardner and an avid quilter. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in St. Mary and a member of the CMA of St. Mary. Visitation will be 5-9 this (Monday, September 11th) evening and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 12th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish prayers will be at 5 p.m. this evening and the rosary at 9 a.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. A funeral for 83-year-old Lillian Ellen Cleary of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 12th at the Immaculate Conception Church at St. Mary. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville. The Rev. Richard Kasznel will officiate. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. |
