A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 9^th, 2006 for 90-year-old Stella Alkemeyer of Perryville, who died today (Tuesday, September 5^th, 2006) at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born December 20^th, 1915 in Yount, the daughter of John and Canzada (Loberg) Biri. They preceded her in death.

She married Willie "Bill" Alkemeyer May 8^th, 1937. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Leslie and Delores Alkemeyer of Perryville, Charles and Eileen Alkemeyer of Bartlesville, OK; a brother, Roy Biri of Doe Run; a sister, Metta Fellows of Farmington; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson; two brothers, Loy and Dewey Biri; three sisters, Opal Phipps, Ora Anton and Myrtle Brown.

She was a homemaker, and a member of the Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer, Daughters of Isabella and the Blessed Sacrament Sodality in Brewer.

Visitation will be from 4:30-8 p.m. Friday, September 8^th, and from 6:30-9:20 a.m. Saturday, September 9^th at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. A Catholic Wake will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the Chapel.

A Funeral Mass for 90-year-old Stella Alkemeyer of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 9^th, 2006 at the Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer. The Rev. Felipe Martinez will officiate.

Burial will follow in the St. Maurus Catholic Cemetery in Biehle.
