Cecilia "Mae" Buchheit

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, April 21st, 2007 for 81-year-old Cecelia "Mae" Buchheit of Perryville, who died Monday, April 16th, 2007 at her home.

She was born May 15th, 1925 in Perry County, the daughter of Victor and Bertha Moore. They preceded her in death.

She married Hubert L’Hote July 17th, 1943. He preceded her in death.

She married Erwin "Speed" Buchheit May 14th, 1966. He survives in Perryville.

She is survived by three sons and two daughters in law, John and JoAnne L’Hote of Perryville, Hubert "Louie" and Joan L’Hote of St. Louis, Rick L’Hote of Perryville; two daughters and sons in law, Carol and Lester Wingerter of Perryville, Marilyn "Kay" and Michael Hagan of Kirkwood; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, four step grandchildren, four step great grandchildren; two stepdaughters and a spouse, Katy and Larry Koenig of Perryville, Louise Jausel of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and seven sisters.

She had retired from Wal-Mart as a department manager, and had worked at Prince Gardner. She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Western Catholic Union and American Legion Auxiliary.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Friday, April 20th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. The American Legion Auxiliary will have service at 7 p.m., parish prayers are at 7:30, followed by a Western Catholic Union service. Visitation continues from 6:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday, April 21st. The Rosary will be recited at 8 a.m.

A funeral Mass for 81-year-old Cecelia "Mae" Buchheit of Perryville will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 21st, 2007 at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
