A funeral will be held Monday, April 2nd, 2007 for 67-year-old Robert DeWeese of Perryville, who died today, Friday, March 30th, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born March 7th, 1940 in Bismarck, the son of the late Marvin DeWeese and Estlea (Mowery) DeWeese, who survives in Perryville.

He married Susan Becker on November 25th, 1961. She survives in Perryville.

He is also survived by a son and daughter in law, Robert and Marie DeWeese of Vacaville, California; two daughters and sons in law, Cindy and Kevin Wengert of St. Mary and Stacy and Matt Buerck of Perryville; five brothers and sisters in law, Richard and Sally DeWeese of Athens, Alabama, Lloyd and Linda DeWeese of Moline, Illinois, Ronnie and Kathy DeWeese of Perryville, Kenny and Norva DeWeese of Moline, Illinois and Doyle DeWeese of Ste. Genevieve; a sister, Mary Clifton of Perryville; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Sue; a brother, Lindell and two sisters, Norma Brown and Peggy Barr.

He was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Sunday, April 1st and 6:30-10 a.m. Monday, April 2nd at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 67-year-old Robert DeWeese of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 2nd at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. Burial will be in the Home Cemetery. The Rev. Bobby Miller will officiate.
