A funeral was held today, Monday, August 13^th, 2007 for 96-year-old Catherine M. Faherty of Perryville who died Friday, August 10^th, at Perry Oaks Manor.

She was born Nov. 1, 1911, in Perry County, the daughter of Frank and Clara Ragsdale Geile, who both preceded her in death.

She married Lynn Henry Faherty in April 1934. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by two daughters, Sr. Annalee Faherty, DC of St. Louis, Carol Rousseau of Perryville; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Faherty worked at the Miraculous Medal Association office.

A funeral for 96-year-old Catherine A. Faherty of Perryville was held at 1 p.m. today, Monday, August 13^th, 2007, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Hank Grodecki officiating.

Burial was in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

The Miller Family Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
