Melvin A. Hoehn A funeral will be held Saturday, December 15th, 2007 for 88-year-old Melvin A. Hoehn of Perryville, who died Tuesday, December 11th, 2007 at the Perry County Nursing Home.
He married Meta Weber October 23rd, 1948. She preceded him in death. He is survived by a son and daughter in law, John and Erin Hoehn of St. Louis; three grandchildren, Justin, Kathryn and Kelsey. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd; three sisters, Lillian Roth, Leola Feagins and Anna Mae Bidwell. He was a farmer of both livestock and agriculture. He served during World War II as a member of the US Navy. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, where he was a former elder, and a member of American Legion Post 133. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Friday, December 14th, and from 6:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 15th at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. A funeral for 88-year-old Melvin A. Hoehn of Perryville will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 15th, 2007 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Thomas Handrick will officiate. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. You may make memorials to the Kidney Foundation or to the Immanuel Lutheran School. |
