A funeral will be held Wednesday, December 5th, 2007 for 75-year-old Robert L. "Bob" Hilderbrand of Perryville, who died Sunday, December 2nd at the Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born April 24th, 1932 in McBride, the son of Oscar H. and Stella M. (Baudendistel) Hilderbrand, who both preceded him in death.

He married Dorothy M. Dobbelare on March 17th, 1962. She preceded him in death.

He is survived by three sons and daughters in law: Kenneth and Terri Erzfeld, David and Trish Erzfeld and Kevin and Tammy Hilderbrand, all of Perryville; a brother, Oscar J. "Jr" Hilderbrand of Perryville and Ruth Ann Hilderbrand of St. Louis; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was a retired truck driver for Gilster Mary-Lee.

He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council 1263.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 4th and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 5th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish wake will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

A funeral for 75-year-old Robert L. "Bob" Hilderbrand of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 5th at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate.

Burial will be in the St. Boniface Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital.
