A funeral will be held Friday, January 26^th, 2007 for 76-year-old Rose Mary Bahr of Perryville, who died today (Tuesday, January 23^rd, 2007) at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born May 23^rd, 1930 in Crosstown, the daughter of Louis and Cecilia (Merkel) Manning. They preceded her in death.

She married Bennie Bahr September 18^th, 1948. He survives in Perryville.

She is survived by four sons and a daughter in law, Joseph and Brenda Bahr of Perryville, William Bahr of Hattiesburg, MS, Emil Bahr of St. Charles, Marion Bahr of St. Louis; three daughters and sons in law, Donna and Gerald Guemmer of Perryville, Elizabeth and Roger Hudson of Cape Girardeau, Mary and Bob Zahner of Perryville; a brother and sister in law, Linus and Janet Manning of Perryville; a sister in law, Ina Manning of Perryville; a brother in law, Harvey Petot of Perryville; nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Bahr; a brother, Donald Manning; a sister, Irma Petot.

She was employed by Gilster Mary Lee.

She was a member of the St. Joseph de Paul Catholic Church, Sereno Social Club, advisory board for the Division of Family Services, and she volunteered at the community center as a prayer reader.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Thursday, January 25^th, and from 6:30-8:30 a.m. Friday, January 26^th at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville.

A funeral for 76-year-old Rose Mary Bahr of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, January 26^th, 2007 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Matthew Marks will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Southeast Missouri Hospital Foundation for Scholarships or to the community center.
