Terry Ray Hampton

A funeral will be held this afternoon for 55-year-old Terry Ray Hampton of Perryville died Sunday, December 31st, 2006 at his home.

He was born July 4, 1951, in Sikeston, the son of Joe M. and Emma Berniece Franks Hampton. His father survives in Buford. His mother preceded him in death.

He is also survived by two daughters, Stephanie Martin of Olathe, Kansas, Jennifer Hampton of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Bill Hampton of Yucaipa, California; three sisters, Patsy Hoeft of Buford, Wanda Leathers of LaBelle, Florida, and Mary Faye Foster of Kennett; and his fiancee, Vickie Pringel of Perryville.

He was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Hampton, who raised him.

He lived in Sikeston most of his life and was a meat cutter for several years at Stan's Food Mart.

He was a former member of Concordia Lutheran Church and recently became a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.

A funeral for 55-year-old Terry Ray Hampton of Perryville formerly of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Burial will be in the Garden of Memories in Sikeston.
