Lloyd L. Buchheit A funeral will be held Saturday for 63-year-old Lloyd L. Buchheit of St. Charles, formerly of Perryville, who died Tuesday, July 17th. He was the son of the late August Buchheit and Lorine Buchheit, who survives. He is also survived by his wife, Joan, a son and daughter in law, Greg and Lisa Buchheit; a daughter and son in law, Tammy and Chris Laughman; four grandchildren, Amanda, Abby, Valerie and Mackenzie; five brothers and sisters in law, Carl and Rose Buchheit, Syl and Donna Buchheit, Daniel and Donna Buchheit, Ralph and Janice Buchheit and Lynn and Donita Buchheit; sisters and brothers in law, Doretta and Wayne Balsman, Evelyne and Richard Otte, Myrtle and Jim Gettinger and Velda and Vic Burdin, Ruth and Tony Buchheit; brother-in-law Dale Wingerter (Jo), Norman Wingerter (Delores), Lester Wingerter (Carol), June Vinson (Harold), Rose Diekamp (Bob) & Edna Colin and the late Norma Jean Galloway (Bud), Earl Wood, Donald Wingerter (Jean) and Dick Wingerter. He was also preceded in death by a brother, George Buchheit. He was a tool and die journeyman with General Motors in Wentzville for 30 years before his retirement in May, 2006. He also formerly worked 14 years for Carter Carburetor. He was a member of St. Cletus Catholic Church; Knights of Columbus Council No. 823, St. Charles; National Horseshoe Pitching Association and UAW Local No. 2250. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. this (Friday, July 20th) afternoon and evening at the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 West Clay, St. Charles. A funeral mass for 63-year-old Lloyd L. Buchheit will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 21st at the St. Cletus Catholic Church, 2705 Zumbehl Road, St. Charles. Burial will be in the St. Charles Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital. |
