Private funeral arrangements are being made for 60-year-old Gary W. Baines of Perryville, formerly of East Prairie, who died Saturday, June 9th at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born February 24th, 1947 in Kansas City, the son of J.B. Baines, who preceded him in death and Arlene (Lockwood) Baines, who survives in Kenly, North Carolina.

He is survived by a son and daughter in law, Keith and Eve Baines of Perryville; two daughters and a son in law, Geri Baines of Fredericktown and Katy and Ben Moore of Sikeston; a brother, Jordan Baines and a sister, Betty Baines, both of the state of North Carolina and a grandchild.

He was employed in farming and mechanical work.
