Gilmer Paul Hemmann A funeral will be held Thursday, June 28th, 2007 for 83-year-old Gilmer Paul Hemmann of Uniontown, who died today, June 26th, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He married Wilburta A. Schrader on October 16th, 1954. She survives in Uniontown. He is also survived by three sons and daughters in law: Paul and Gayle Hemmann of St. Louis, Steven and Suzanne Hemmann of Columbia and Daniel and Carol Hemmann of Shawneetown; three daughters and sons in law: Betty and Dan Buchheit of Columbia, Donna and Alan Roth of Farrar and Julia and Jim Shoots of St. Louis; a sister and brother in law, Alice and Charles Hacker of Perryville, a sister in law, Rose Hemmann of Frohna and 11 grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Harold and Milton Hemmann and two sisters: Doris Stueve and Helen Weber. He was a laborer at Kasten Brick in Jackson and a school custodian with the Oak Ridge R-VI District for 10 years. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown and a former member of the Grace Finance Board. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 27th and 6:30-8:30 a.m. Thursday, June 28th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A funeral for 83-year-old Gilmer Paul Hemmann of Uniontown will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 28th at the Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown. The Rev. Paul Winningham will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown or to the Saxony Lutheran High School. |
